Management Excellence Awards
The Management Excellence Awards (MEA) competition
has showcased over 300 innovative strategies and creative programs developed
by administrators and clinicians throughout California’s “open
door providers”—the hospitals and health systems that by mission
and mandate share a commitment to serving all members of the community,
regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.
The goals of the Management Excellence Awards are:
- To encourage the sharing and dissemination of useful and effective
strategies and approaches that address pressing clinical and operational
issues and/or advance community health,
- To recognize dedicated and talented public hospital and health system
professionals, and
- To showcase some of the unique and creative approaches California’s
open door providers have taken to carry out their missions and
- to
address the health care needs of the communities they serve.
